The best of both worlds: IB and Canadian Curriculum! Our innovative approach combines the rigor of the IB program with the practical strengths of the Canadian Curriculum. This research-based, play-based, and child-driven program fosters a love of learning that prepares your child for success.
Learning at their own pace, together! Our curriculum tracks developmental milestones across all areas – cognition, social-emotional skills, arts, and physical development. This ensures we’re teaching to the “whole child,” not just their age. Children are placed in learning groups based on their development, not just grade level. We partner with families through twice-yearly conferences to discuss individual progress and create shared goals that support your child’s journey at home and school.
INFANTS (7 MONTHS - 18 MONTHS)
Tiny toes, big adventures! Our infant program, starting at seven months old, is a warm and nurturing haven designed to spark your baby's development. Our dedicated teachers create personalized daily routines filled with interaction, play, exploration, and movement, fostering social-emotional and physical growth. We also offer enriching activities like sign language to jumpstart communication before spoken words arrive, and baby yoga to promote self-awareness and create a delightful sensory experience for your little one.
YOUNG TODDLERS (1-2 YEARS OLD)
Growing independence, growing minds! Our young toddler program empowers little ones to become confident learners. Through fun activities that teach self-help skills like feeding themselves, climbing stairs, and making choices, children gain a sense of independence that fuels their curiosity. This allows them to explore new concepts with purpose and embark on a journey of joyful discovery!
OLDER TODDLERS (2-3 YEARS OLD)
Busy bodies, brilliant minds! Our older toddler program is a place where curiosity runs wild! These little sponges are constantly soaking up the world around them. We provide opportunities for them to build independence by offering tools to problem-solve and tackle everyday tasks. From learning to play cooperatively with friends to cleaning up after meals, your child will make mindful decisions throughout the day, building confidence and a love of learning that will last a lifetime!
PRESCHOOL (3-4 YEARS OLD)
Ready, set, explore! Preschool is a time of boundless energy and blooming friendships. Our exciting, theme-based curriculum caters to this age group's natural curiosity. We nurture a love of learning through storytelling, playful activities that develop gross and fine motor skills, social-emotional intelligence, and basic math concepts. Our dedicated teachers model strategies and provide ample practice time, ensuring each child feels confident and successful as they embark on their preschool journey!
PRE-K (4-5 YEARS OLD)
Curious minds take center stage! Pre-K is all about exploration and discovery. Our teachers use a balanced approach to literacy, sparking a love for reading and writing. Real-life math skills come alive through engaging activities that are both purposeful and fun. From role-playing stories to building bridges, learning comes to life as children express their creativity through thematic units, fostering a love of learning that will prepare them for kindergarten and beyond!
FIRST GRADE PREP (5+ YEARS OLD)
Get ready for kindergarten and beyond! Our Kindergarten program focuses on building the essential skills your child needs to thrive. Through hands-on learning experiences, children will develop reading readiness, strengthen their understanding of numbers, and explore problem-solving through exciting projects. We use the inquiry process to spark critical and creative thinking, encouraging children to ask questions and discover the world around them. But kindergarten isn't just about academics! We also foster social and emotional development. Your child will learn to collaborate, share ideas, and feel valued as part of a supportive learning community. Conscious Discipline
Building happy, confident learners! Social-emotional development is at the heart of our educational philosophy. We use the principles of Conscious Discipline to empower children to become self-confident and lifelong learners. Through this approach, they’ll learn valuable strategies to manage and express their emotions in healthy ways. Physical and Health
Healthy bodies, happy minds! We care about your child's well-being, inside and out. Our teachers encourage healthy habits like making good food choices, incorporating exercise into daily routines, and practicing good hygiene - all skills that set them up for lifelong wellness. We also know that physical development is crucial. Through engaging electives like dance, gymnastics, and fitness classes, children learn muscle control and develop both fine and gross motor skills in a fun and supportive environment.
Language and Literacy
A World of Words Awaits! Preschool is a time of incredible language development, where young minds are soaking up new words and building pre-literacy skills. WeCare fosters this love of language by exposing children to a variety of opportunities, including Arabic and French.
